This bike features a lightweight, compact lithium LiFePo4 48 volt 10.4 Ah integrated battery pack providing a considerable amount of power. We now offer the option to purchase an upgrade to your Rocky Road to ship with a 48 Volt 17 Ah lithium LiPo4 which allows for an increased 60-65% distance. This means you can get up to an additional 115 miles per charge (*depends on rider weight and terrain). The 100% hand welded lightweight aluminum frame bicycle has Atlus Shimano 9-Speed gears & shifting system, oversized MOZO front hydraulic suspension & KS rear shock suspension, aluminum rims with quick release axle on the front and a waterproof quick disconnect on the rear and oversized Kenda 26 x 4.0 tires.
Equipped with 5 Speed Smart Power Assist System (PAS) with a USB phone charging port. You control the electronics on the LCD screen. Smart PAS with 5 speeds will enable the bike to operate nearly twice as efficient as a non-smart assist e-bike, which will allow your Rocky Road to possibly reach or exceed 40+ miles per charge. The LCD also indicates speed, distance, and battery life.
Front & rear Tetko disc brakes are standard along with true VELO brand hand grips & mountain bike seat.

The X-Treme Rocky Road can be used as a normal bike where the rider provides all the power, or you can use just the throttle and let the bike do all of the work. There is also an in-between option, Pedal Assist, where the rider pedals and the motor provides a great boost at the same time. You can choose the level that is right for your type of riding. It makes riding fun and effortless.
